Tixall Hall Gatehouse.
The Hall was demolished in 1928/29.
The gatehouse was built around 1580 by Sir Walter Aston (1529-1589) a prominent Staffordshire protestant,
and son of Sir Edward Aston who built the original hall in 1555.
